Eduardo Sasso

Eduardo Sasso

Eduardo Sasso is a business sustainability consultant born and raised in Costa Rica who also considers himself to be 1/5 Canadian after living here since 2008.

He served as a sustainability coordinator for JustWork Economic Initiative, a local social enterprise, and after an apprenticeship at A Rocha Canada where he explored the major ins and outs of our current food systems, Eduardo runs 8-week experiential courses aimed to equip organizations to embrace more responsible procurement practices.

More recently he kick-started Earthkeepers, an incipient movement inspiring and mobilizing churches to work out a Judeo-Christian spirituality in relation to ecology, climate change, and the well-being of the vulnerable.

Passionate about research and public-speaking, Eduardo pursued an MA in Theological/Interdisciplinary Studies from Regent College in Vancouver, Canada and has recently obtained an Award of Achievement in Sustainability Management from UBC. He enjoys writing, growing food, and going for hikes and bike rides. Being in nature inspires him to endure the birth-pangs of a low-carbon, community-oriented future – one which he longs and works for.
