Jason was born in Ontario, grew up all over North America, and has lived on Coast Salish Territories in BC for the last nine years. He graduated from Columbia Bible College in Abbotsford in 2010, with a BA in Biblical Studies, emphasizing Community Development. Since then, he has lived on Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, participating in the life of the Servants Vancouver community and meeting and marrying his lovely wife Anna. He currently works as a supervisor with Sole Food Farms, growing local organic fruit and veggies in downtown Vancouver.
Raised in a variety of conservative evangelical Protestant churches and inspired in college by the Anabaptist tradition, Jason now worships with a young Anglican congregation. Jason is passionate about indigenous justice, loves to read and write, and finds great joy in singing, playing guitar, and taking long walks in the wild world.
Jason is a bold advocate and organizer with EarthKeepers: Christians for Climate Justice.
