OurVoices
In September 2014, over 400,000 of us marched (with the support of many more hundreds of thousands who joined us in prayer) to demonstrate our conviction that decisive international action is needed to stop climate destabilization.
In December 2014, faith communities around Canada and the globe joined the #LightforLima campaign calling for a strong global agreement to stop devastating climate change.
2014 was just the start. 2015 is the year we make history.
OurVoices wants the moral case for action to be heard by world leaders.

I’ll be there. Who else is going? How can we work together to use this event to enhance the potential for climate action in Canada?
I would like to make sure the march in TO does not conflict with the call out for the Sound the Alarm action at 1:00 p.m. where faith communities and anyone is called to make noise for 5 minutes and some seconds which corresponds to 350 seconds to call attention to Climate change
I am going
I am going Lucy as are a number of people from Trinity St. Paul’s united church.
If you can’t make it to NY and live in Toronto, there is a march being planned for downtown Toronto. Watch for details.
not usually a fan of on-line petitions. nor do I have great optimism that Paris 2015 will achieve the kind of globally binding restrictions we need. That said, this is a solid idea with excellent persons behind it. We have to try. I signed up.
